TASHA RICHARD, CO-CURATOR

Having opted out of her corporate career with the birth of her first child, Tasha acutely understands the challenges professional moms face in the delicate balance of raising both careers and children. Prior to becoming a Mommy, Tasha completed her Bachelor of Commerce and went on to earn an MBA. She began her career at Johnson & Johnson Consumer as Brand Manager of several international brands. She went on to work with TrojanOne, an Integrated Brand Activation Agency based in Toronto, where she led the planning and execution of dozens of integrated Brand and Sponsorship plans for blue-chip clients including Bell Canada, Johnson & Johnson, Right to Play and Coca-Cola. 

Tasha is currently the curator of momcafé which connects and inspires professional moms through online resources and over 200 live events a year across Canada. Tasha also coaches professional women on having brilliant careers and busiensses and is Creator and Co-Owner of platform space(www.platformspace.com), flexible workspace for small and medium businesses in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She resides in Halifax, NS with her husband, three children and two dogs.

HEATHER PLUMRIDGE, CO-CURATOR

Heather completed her Bachelor of Science Nursing Degree from CBU/St F.X. joint program.  As a Public Health Nurse, Heather thrives in the evolving nature of evidence and changing practice recommendations and is a positive influence on parenting confidence and child development. Heather is requested for her skill in creating and delivering thought provoking and stimulating education sessions and, with training in Public Speaking and as a Certified Train the Trainer, has guest lectured at Cape Breton University, local junior high schools and community forums. As a Certified Life Coach, Heather provides the necessary guidance for individuals to focus on personal development and strengths, creating an engaging and focused system of achieving personal goals. Heather is passionate about her role as Co-Curator for momcafé (momcafenetwork.com), utilizing her skills as a nurse and life coach, Heather hosts authentic and honest conversations offering professional moms across Canada a network of inspiration and opportunity.  Heather was born and raised in Cape Breton and continues to enjoy the island life with her husband and three children.
