momcafé Edmonton regional owner, Meghann Matthews.
Meghann, mother to one-year-old Liam, has a diverse background that includes co-owning the Argyll School of Celtic Arts, where she taught highland dancing and bagpipes, two pastimes she herself continues to this day. She has a degree in business administration, and her true passions within the scope of business are marketing and public relations. She currently works part-time in the environmental not-for-profit sector and is looking forward to bringing her entrepreneurial side to the forefront again. Meghann thrives on meeting new people, and she is excited to learn about other extraordinary moms in her area through momcafé.
Julie Nowell via Twitter lead me to you – mentioned to connect and say welcome!!! Hope to meet you soon. I am co-owner of Bibagogo and also founder of a new entrepreneur social network group called Social Circlet. Plus…personal note, use to dance when young highland but ended up dancing and touring with Shumka and past dance teacher for years. Have a 4 year old and placing here in a creative dance/celtic next week with Fiona out of Twillegar town. Wishing you the best in getting up and going, Edmonton is an amazing place of moms and entrepreneurs!!! Great group of people.
