It has been a fantastic week, meeting with momcafé members from across the country who have taken advantage of the free 45 minute coaching session. So many moms are working hard to make their businesses and careers grow but one of the common threads I am seeing is that moms are not maximizing their business relationships to build most efficiently and effectively. It doesn’t need to be that hard! In the Ghost CEO world we have a term and process called “Building Champions”. Common referrals (aka those that don’t know what exactly you do but promise to spread the word about your product or service) are a waste of time as almost all are unqualified and not ready to buy. A Champion, on the other hand is an educated and managed ‘referral source’. You invest time in educating them on what you do, how you do it, and who you do it for (and who you don’t do it for). Sound familiar? YOU CAN’T HAVE CHAMPIONS UNTIL YOU ARE SOLID ON YOUR THREE QUESTIONS! You also can’t start building champions until you have figured out what your ‘ideal client’ looks like. If you can’t clearly state what you are looking for, your champions can’t bring them to you. A well-trained, activated champion is more powerful than a full-time, paid marketer. Invest your time!
