Bouncing my worries away

16 May 2012 | By tri-cities in blog | 1 Comment

Perusing Facebook this morning i saw a contest to win a . My reaction of course was to imagine the happy children leaping and bounding around a trampoline all summer long while dad and I sip icy margaritas on the patio. The playful banter as we hose them off in their caged in play zone when the sun beats to hot.

Reading through their contest details I saw the words for children (and adults) of all ages.

Ha. I remember the last time I jumped on a trampoline.  As a mother of 3 it is ingrained in my memory forever.  Now it may have been the numerous Blueberry Teas I had partaken of (they sound so innocent, don’t they) or it could have been the 3 large babies that spent a total of 2yrs pressing onto my bladder and intercostal muscles.   But that first jump, was my last jump as I delicately removed myself and grabbed the hose to “clean up my mess” as my husband so delicately put it.

So, with mixed feelings I did enter to win the trampoline. No stranger to pushing my boundaries and taking on challenges, I figured  this was the best way to face my urinary tract fears and if I am the winner, give me a goal to push my kegels to the limit and get my body bouncing again!

Enter to win… you might as well! Imagine the kids faces when you pull a trampoline out of your purse one day!

I could use a trampoline. My 22 month old twins are JUMPING on everything! Wouldn’t it be nice to have a safe place for them to jump!
