So here we are at the beginning of another year and all the blogs are all-a-twitter with resolutions and proclamations for the year to come. I don’t typically do resolutions because as with many others they just don’t last beyond the first few weeks (sending me into a shame spiral until end of Feb.) So, instead, here are my intentions for 2012, written out for all the world to see, and to hopefully keep me a little more accountable on my journey towards next December….
a) (Yawn…) Lose weight through fun and challenging exercise – yes boring, boring, but those pesky mompreneur pounds from 2011 aren’t going to rid themselves and I miss the camaraderie of a group fitness class or sport (did I mention I am a bit competitive?). So bring it bootcamp!
b) Work smarter, not harder (and work less, play more) – Everything I do this year will be done with the intention to be able to work from the “cloud” in the near future. Perhaps some blogging from Berlin? Or Tweeting from Tokyo? Who knows, but its gonna be fun!
c) Nurture important relationships – friends and family are really ALL that matters, and I have been guilty of neglecting all my loved ones of late. Plans to correct this include many dinner parties, girls nights out, and family holidays (starting with Hawaii in 3 weeks – woot!)
d) Accept the end of my 30′s with grace and dignity – Hell NO! This mama is going kicking and screaming into her 5th decade of life and doing everything in her power to reverse the aging process! That and a DAMN good party in April to celebrate : )
Happy New Year y’all!

This all sounds great to me! (Especially the Tweeting in Tokyo part… I love Japan.
All the best in 2012.
