momcafe transitions in the tri-cities

My momcafe journey has been educational and empowering, but due to changes in my life, I will be moving on. Over the 18months creating a community of amazing moms there have been wonderful connections made and hilarious events! Here are some of my favorites:

Tri-cities launch event:
Through massive fear and stress I launched momcafe in the tricities in 6 short weeks of purchasing the business license.  In days I went from morning’s at the gym to coffee date, after coffee date, after coffee date.  I was thrilled to have Jill Earthy and Traci Costa join me at our launch, as well as 60 fabulous moms from the tricities.  The days before I had night sweats and could hardly hold on to the microphone due to the sweaty palms.  The overwhelming relief when the event was over was couple with exhaustion and… well, happiness! I was amazingly proud of myself for taking the leap to put myself back on the path to my dreams and face my fears!

Through pure dumb courage I was able to ask and then confirm the amazing Lori Joyce and Heather White (aka The Cupcake girls) as my June speakers.  If I thought the stress of launching was high, this was on another level.   I knew that this would be my biggest event and if I could get through it, I would have mastered the rhythm.   I welcomed the night sweats again, knowing it would be the last time!  95 moms, amazing cupcakes… it was pretty fun from my end!

As the year progressed the highlights kept coming.  Launching our m-café’s and moms nights out. Partnering with Coquitlam Mommy, and getting even closer to Christine Nielsen .  Learning more and more about the amazing moms and businesses in the area!  My learning curve was swift and steep! But the ride was amazing!

ImageOur final, last minute event (which I knew was final, but alas no one else did yet) was with the fab Bedroom Joyologist.  We ate Clever Cupcakes and learned about pleasing our man!  To have a group of women go from business training to bedroom learning was an amazing journey!

Thank you all for the amazing ride, for joining me as I found myself again after being in full-time “mom mode” and allowing me to practice my skills and build my confidence with you! You have given me more than you can imagine!.

So my time with momcafe is done, but I will continue to build on my dreams and enjoy my family!  I imagine we will see each other again soon and look forward to finding ways to help you chase your dreams!

Julie
