When I first learned of this conference, I was really excited! Who wouldn’t love the opportunity to gather not only with so many well-connected women, but on top of that, brands that are excited to work with the organizations we represent?! But when I learned that only 200 women would be chosen to attend, I got a bit deflated because of course, I thought “there’s sooooo many other women that are much more connected than I am”. Negative self-talk strikes again!
Forget that! Even though we’re just coming up on our 1 year anniversary here at momcafé Ottawa, I’m throwing my hat into the ring. What’s funny is that we have an event that day (shameless plug here: Savvy Social Media Mamas) – what would be more fun than hosting an event in Ottawa in the morning, then jetting on Porter to T.O.? It would also be only the 2nd time returning to the city since we moved from Toronto back to Ottawa over a year ago. I miss Toronto! What better reason to return than to attend ‘She’s Connected’ conference?!
