About Our Speakers

Annemarie Templeman-Kluit

Annemarie Templeman-Kluit is the founder of yoyomama, Vancouver’s go-to online lifestyle guide for moms, and is considered one of Canada’s top digital moms.  In addition to her role as yoyomama’s managing editor, she writes a column for 24 Hours (Sun Media Corp), is a regular contributor to CBC-BC Radio (Early Edition, On the Coast, BC Almanac), and the author of Healthy Mum, Happy Baby (published by Random House).

When Annemarie isn’t busy chauffeuring her 2 young kids to school or playdates, she is informing other busy moms on the best places to play, eat, learn and shop in Vancouver and Toronto through yoyomama’s daily emails.

Annemarie will share with us how to use social media to make connections, drive traffic, build subscriber lists, and expand your online network.

Whether you’re just venturing into the world of social media for the first time, or are an experienced social media maven yourself, you are sure to gain helpful insights from Vancouver’s foremost social media mom!

Janice Croze

Named 2nd top parenting blog by the Wall Street Journal, 5 Minutes for Mom has grown a large and dedicated following of moms by successfully melding the genres of shopping and parenting into one of the most popular blogs for moms.

With over 14,000 Twitter followers, 4400 Facebook fans, 2 successful e-commerce sites, and thousand of daily website hits, Janice and her identical twin sister Susan Carraretto have grown an online presence most business owners only dream of.

From speaking at blogger conferences, to providing online marketing consulting services, to interviewing celebrities on the red carpet, 5 Minutes for Mom has taken on a life of it’s own and has grown into more than Susan and Janice could have imagined.

Janice will tell us how they have grown their loyal following through various social media tools like Twitter, Facebook, and vlogs, and share with us some little known secrets of social media success.
