Do I have to be a mom to attend?

No! Our events are about connecting women, and they are not exclusive to Moms. Everyone is welcome.

Who runs the childcare?

momcafé has a great childcare team of qualified staff and volunteers. The children have lots of toys to play with, and they have lots of fun!

What aged children do you provide childcare for?

Kids older than 6 months and younger than 12 years old enjoy the childcare. Babies younger than 6 months get to stay with their moms!

What kind of breakfast is provided?

A steaming hot latte, fresh baked goods, and a colorful tray of fruit!

My toddler is really clinging right now. If she doesn’t settle, is there somewhere I can sit near her and still hear?

You can sit with her right at your seat if you want, or if not, depending on the location, there is always plenty of room in the facility.

If my little one falls asleep in the stroller on the way there, do you have stroller parking where I can sit nearby?

We organize stroller parking at each event, in a secured location. She can also snore away beside your table, if there is room.

What if I am not a Mom?

We have had a lot of people attend momcafés who are not moms. They enjoy the camaraderie, the networking, the information from the speakers, and the general ambience of the morning. Remember that dads are welcome too!

What is the event format and timing?

Coffee and registration typically starts at 9:00am. The main session begins by 9:30am. Each speaker will share her experience and insights before we open up the session for an interactive question and answer period. The formal portion of the event wraps up by 10:30am to allow for further informal networking and mingling until 11:00am.
